The truth is no amount of mercury is safe. There is no level of mercury, no matter how minute, that will not harm people and pets.
The video above may be an extreme example, most people do not melt down mercury. But the vapors caused in the process are just at an exaggerated level compared to the mercury vapors constantly being released by traditional fillings.
